“Slowpoke’’ Rodriguez, born and raised in the East End of Houston Texas, became fascinated with art from a very early age. Growing up surrounded by various subcultures and lifestyles, he quickly became keen to recreating cultural imagery through his own lens. Jonathan began getting tattooed by many of his favorite artists and soon began to tattoo himself. After years of trial-and-error, Jonathan soon began working and tattooing many different styles, all the while developing a style of his own. From big and bold American traditional to fine line Black and Grey, Jonathan continues to study vigorously, constantly improving his craft, learning and growing in all aspects. Outside of tattooing, Jonathan is a student of life and enjoys traveling and exploring the unknown.
