Gabe Sanchez

Gabe Sanchez, a native to Houston’s South Side, is a lifelong lover of art. His original inspiration came from his parents, watching them both draw as he grew up. However, it wasn’t until his early twenties that he directed that passion towards the art of tattooing. For the past seven years, he has honed his talents at a variety of shops and travelled often, most notably to L.A. and NYC, to gain a wider perspective on his craft. Originally, he focused on American Traditional designs, but has found a deep love for Japanese designs. At an early age, Gabe was exposed to the Japanese culture by attending taiko performances that his aunt and uncle participated in. The dances and imagery he saw there sparked an immediate passion he has carried with him throughout his life. He spends much of his free time further researching Japanese art and history, as well as a variety of other types of art, hoping to expand his knowledge and thus his talents, to give each person a beautiful and unique custom tattoo.
